Creative workshops at Yours Therapy are online spaces where you can gently explore your inner world through art, writing, and simple embodied practices. You don’t need any artistic skills, although of course they are welcome. At Yours Therapy, we believe everybody has artistic skills. All that is needed is curiosity and a willingness to try something new. Together, we use creativity to slow down, listen in, and find new ways of relating to your emotions and experiences.
I am an EMDR practitioner, accredited counsellor, and coach. I hold an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art, and I am a qualified yoga teacher. I have been running creative, yoga, and personal growth workshops for over 20 years, both privately and within NHS and prison settings, and I bring 34 years of lived experience of recovery within various fellowships. All of this informs the way I design and facilitate these workshops, bringing together visual expression, body awareness, trauma‑informed practice, and psychological insight.
These creative workshops are therapeutic in nature, but they are not a therapy group and are not a substitute for individual therapy. If you’re curious about whether a creative workshop is right for you, you’re welcome to reach out with questions.
